At Mousehole we aim to achieve a happy, successful, warm, caring environment where children are given the opportunity to reach their potential in all aspects of school life. We aim to make the best of every opportunity to develop confidence, respect and a love of learning in all members of the school community.
Our school calendar can now be found on the Events page and have a look at the Useful Information pages for downloads of handy documents like timetables etc.
If you are a visitor and want to know more, please get in touch using the Contact page.
Mousehole Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our Child Protection Policy which can be viewed in the Policies section of our website and is available from the school office.
Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child's welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our pupils are discussed with his/her parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child's welfare.
We actively support the Government's Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Mr Chris Roynon (Headteacher).
Our Deputy DSL is Mrs Caroline Newborn (Senior teacher).
The governor with responsibility for safeguarding is Fran Pender
